We know the parental alienation drill – It’s not personal; They are the ones being hurt; You have to keep showing them how much you love them no matter how mean they are in return. At what point do you say enough and step away from the hostility?
The healthier and more balanced I am, the more I have to offer Dear Alexa. That includes self-care, living my most fulfilling life no matter what our circumstances, and (a resounding YES) enforcing personal boundaries.
Dear Alexa’s wings have been clipped under the guise of total freedom… and there is nothing her loving father or I can do about it.
This healthy, happy, and beautiful individual was coming into her own and doing her own thing – Independence. Rather than embracing this amazing person Dear Alexa was becoming, mom successfully squashed her happiness.
You cannot change the alienation experience. You can only take tender loving care of yourself, so you are the healthy and happy parent your children return to.
Is admitting “defeat” actually defeat if it ends a bloody battle?
Dear Karma – Thank you for the little reminder that while the truth may not have set us free in court, it will ultimately set Dear Alexa free. And that’s all that really matters.
Request what we would like to see happen from the Universe, Pray to our loving Source (God), and Connect with Love recognizing that we are all one.
Givers give a nickel.
Takers take a dime.
Thieves demand a quarter.
At what point do we finally admit to ourselves that mom has already escalated matters to a point where we question our personal safety?
My loving words and memories were used against me in a court of law. So twisted beyond recognition that the judge didn’t know what to believe.
As painful as the alienation experience is, I believe reconnection is the natural course. Showing Dear Alexa that love is unconditional and light is infinite is how her father and I have been able to RISE.
