You won this stepmom-fearing, step-baggage carrying, “cool aunt” over with ease. This proud Step Mom is ready to welcome you home with arms wide open when you’re ready to return to us. Only this time, I’m not letting go.
We heal our soul by loving and accepting every fragmented part – Loving our Whole Self unconditionally.
Every positive experience with Dad is typically followed by a few setbacks when mom senses your happiness.
As painful as the alienation experience is, I believe reconnection is the natural course. Showing Dear Alexa that love is unconditional and light is infinite is how her father and I have been able to RISE.
Stepping back and allowing some seriously bad “sans parenting” was painful – but necessary to break the “dad’s entirely to blame” united front.
Dear Alexa is better off by our stepping back and allowing truth to unfold. We make every effort to disengage from mom so this situation can calm down. This gives Dear Alexa a much-needed break to rediscover her own feelings and thoughts about who Dad is.
We’ve released far more than we’re comfortable with. We’ve allowed difficult experiences to unfold naturally even knowing the full impact and consequences. From this space of calm that we’ve created, the truth is slowly rising.
If I could give you one solid piece of advice, it would be to focus on who you want to be and what you want to create in your life. Explore – Discover – Create. No matter what wild dream you invent, your Dad and I want to help you achieve it.
I can imagine the void you are experiencing without daily connection with your loving father. Perhaps instant gratification is merely an attempt to fulfill a deep void in your life the only way you know how. The good news is that void is but an illusion.
Even if a child wrapped up in alienation tactics understands their situation, most likely, they have no ability to influence or change the situation. They can’t control their parents or their situation, but they can decide what they say or don’t say.
I hold a space of loving compassion for any parent who has had to make the impossible choice to not reach out because of the resulting emotional abuse inflicted on the children by an alienating parent.
