I will openly admit that my initial response to the court’s ruling was pure ego. WTF?!! I even drafted (and deleted) several blog entries because I couldn’t find even a sliver of hope. What breaks our hearts is that mom succeeded in alienating you even further from your wonderful Dad.
While every part of us wants to back off (nothing positive comes from court litigation – least of all for you), unfortunately, we need to see this through. For Dad to not report neglect or not stand up for his parental rights, would be to condone the alienation that is occurring.
You may not be in a position to see the truth of your situation now. But someday you will…
